Job Title: TIG Welder
Job Description
We are looking for a skilled TIG Welder to join our team, primarily focusing on welding stainless steel. The role involves performing fabrication tasks using equipment such as drill presses, saws, shears, and grinders. You will also be required to utilize blueprints for welding and use measuring devices like tape measures, micrometers, and calipers. In addition, you should be open to performing light assembly tasks as needed. A majority of your day will be spent welding, with the remaining time dedicated to fabrication and assembly. Proficiency with computers for data entry is necessary.
Responsibilities
+ Perform TIG welding on stainless steel materials.
+ Conduct fabrication tasks using various equipment including drill presses, saws, shears, and grinders.
+ Interpret and utilize blueprints for welding tasks.
+ Employ measuring devices such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
+ Assist with light assembly tasks when required.
+ Engage in job shop work, customizing each piece of equipment for clients.
+ Spend approximately 75% of the day welding and 25% fabricating/assembling.
+ Perform data entry on a computer.
Work Environment
The work environment is generally clean, with a team of 20-25 people including machinists, welders, fabricators, and mechanics. The position requires wearing work pants or jeans and steel toe boots. The role operates on a first shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional work on Saturdays, typically once a month.

This is a Permanent position based out of FRANKFORT, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $29.00/hr.
