Job Title: Shipping Clerk** **Job Description
The Shipping Clerk (Cycle Counter Associate) is responsible for accurately maintaining inventory levels by performing regular physical counts of goods and reconciling any discrepancies between the count and the computer records.
Responsibilities
+ Perform cycle counts by physically counting specific items such as raw materials and finished goods daily using a predetermined schedule or area.
+ Maintain inventory accuracy by ensuring that the physical count matches the quantity in the inventory management system.
+ Investigate and reconcile discrepancies by researching and resolving differences between physical counts and record-keeping, and report any findings.
+ Update records by entering count data into a computer system or handheld device to maintain accurate records.
+ Locate misplaced inventory by searching for items that are misclassified or in the wrong location.
+ Report on inventory metrics by compiling and reporting on inventory data, metrics, and discrepancies as required.
+ Manage damaged goods by documenting and reporting any damaged products found during counts.
+ Maintain a clean and safe work area by following all safety procedures, maintaining organization, and ensuring the work environment is safe.
Essential Skills
+ Basic computer skills and familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
+ Experience with handheld scanners and pallet jacks.
+ 2-5 years of experience in a relevant warehouse, logistics, or inventory control environment.
+ Bilingual in English/Spanish.
+ Ability to stand, walk, lift, stoop, and reach for extended periods, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Proficiency in data entry and inventory management.
+ Experience with RF scanners and cycle counting.
+ Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
+ Experience in material handling, unloading, and order picking.

Work Environment
The facility is a smaller location with 75 employees between two shifts. This role will support the Glendale Heights location. Be prepared for a dynamic environment requiring flexibility, with tasks sometimes performed in extreme temperatures.

This is a Contract position based out of Glendale Heights, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
