    Job Title: General Production Worker

    Job Description

    Join our team as a General Production Worker where you will play a crucial role in our packaging operations across two sites. You will be responsible for tasks such as capping bottles, packing products into cases, and ensuring quality control. Your work will support the seamless packaging and distribution of our products, and you will have opportunities to assist with batch mixing and janitorial duties.

    Responsibilities

    + Place caps and lids on bottles.

    + Bottle products into boxes and cases.

    + Sort and separate finished products.

    + Pack jugs and bottles into boxes.

    + Lift and stage boxes.

    + Palletize and wrap boxes and containers.

    + Place boxes and products into sealer machinery.

    + Perform quality inspections by counting, sorting, and sizing.

    + Attach tags and labels on products and boxes.

    + Pull cases off the line and stack on pallets.

    + Wrap and stage cases and boxes.

    + Work on multiple packaging lines.

    + Assist operators with batch mixing and janitorial work.

    + Weigh out product liquids and prepare batches.

    + Document all orders accurately.

    + Work with drums and totes.

    + Lift up to 55 lbs.

    + Perform housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, and trash removal.

    Essential Skills

    + Ability to perform multiple jobs and work in various areas.

    + Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    + Experience in manufacturing.

    + Wearing steel toe boots is a requirement.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in chemical, oil, or food manufacturing is a plus.

    + Ability to perform repetitive motions is essential.

The Chicago Heights facility is also temperature-controlled and houses a larger workforce, which can be lively and dynamic. Both sites prioritize safety and organization, and offer multiple break rooms and security checkpoints. Chemicals used are non-harmful, ensuring a safe working environment.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alsip, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $16.25 - $18.45/hr.
