Job Title: Concrete Finisher** **Job Description

We are seeking skilled Concrete Finishers to join a large-scale concrete project at a major plant location. This project involves extensive concrete work, such as redoing foundations, concrete pads, housing pads, pouring new concrete, and breaking up old concrete. This role is ideal for experienced concrete contractors who can bring their own tools and start immediately upon clearance.

Responsibilities

+ Redoing and laying concrete foundations and pads.

+ Pouring new concrete and breaking up old concrete.

+ Ensuring quality and precision in concrete finishing tasks.

+ Operating hand tools and other equipment effectively.

Essential Skills

+ Concrete work experience.

+ Ability to speak English.

+ Possession of own tools.

+ TWICC certification.

+ DISA score of 1 or less.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Completion of HASC classes.

+ Ability to start immediately upon clearance.

+ Experience working in construction environments.

Work Environment

The work takes place outdoors at the Exxon Mobile plant in Baytown, Texas. Be prepared to work in all weather conditions. The shift runs from 7 am to 3 pm, with potential for overtime and occasional Saturday work if pouring concrete. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory, including steel toes and flame-resistant clothing. Hard hats and safety glasses will be supplied.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Baytown, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
