    Machine Builder - 1st Shift - Pay up to $25/hr

    Job Description:

    The Assembler is responsible for producing components by assembling parts and subassemblies. This role involves preparing work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. The Assembler positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements and resolves assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications. Additionally, maintaining equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements and ensuring a safe and clean working environment are key aspects of the role.

    Responsibilities:

    + Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies.

    + Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gather parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

    + Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

    + Examine connections for correct fit; fasten parts and subassemblies.

    + Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications; notify supervisor to obtain additional resources.

    + Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements; follow manufacturer's instructions; troubleshoot malfunctions; call for repairs.

    + Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

    + Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.

    + Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with panel wiring and point-to-point wiring.

    + Proficiency in reading schematics and blueprints.

    + Mechanical assembly and electrical wiring skills.

    + Ability to troubleshoot PLCs and build electrical panels.

    + Understanding of wiring schematics and diagrams.

    + Ability to work standing up for long periods of time.

    + Capability to work under machinery using a mechanic’s creeper.

    + Ability to lift 30 lbs.

    + Proficiency in reading, writing, and comprehending written plans in English.

    + Ability to read a mechanical blueprint for metal parts layout.

    + Skill in using precision tools such as wire cutters and screwdrivers.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Knowledge of sheet metal tools and equipment.

    + Must be present on-site to complete job tasks.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mogadore, OH.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
