Job Title: General Laborer

Job Description

Join our team as a General Laborer where you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and supporting operations in our outdoor environment. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in dynamic settings and are eager to grow within a supportive company.

SHIFT: Monday through Friday- 6:30am-3:30pm (last day of month will work til 4:30pm)

Saturday 630a-1230p

Responsibilities

+ Perform daily housekeeping tasks including sweeping work areas and cleaning bathrooms.

+ Handle batteries by palletizing, shrink wrapping, and moving them.

+ Assemble Gaylord boxes.

+ Assist with vehicle drainage using SEDA equipment.

+ Provide yard support by moving recycled materials and assisting customers with drop-offs.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in palletizing, general labor, packing, and material handling.

+ Ability to perform general labor in outdoor environments.

+ Must be able to lift 50lbs and up to 100lbs in a team lift.

+ Willingness to perform various tasks such as cleaning, material moving, and customer interaction.

+ Strong focus on safety and awareness of surroundings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience working on cars, either as a hobby or professionally, is a plus.

+ Ability to operate a forklift is preferred.

Work Environment

99% of the work is conducted outdoors, with a small garage used for material storage. Expect to work in all weather conditions, both hot and cold. Join a team of five, with safety gear provided including hard hats, gloves, safety goggles, and vests. Required attire includes steel-toe boots, long sleeve shirts, and long work pants. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 6:30 am to 3:30 pm (extended to 4:30 pm on the last day of the month) and Saturdays from 6:30 am to 12:30 pm.

This is a Contract position based out of Sewell, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
