Job Title: Industrial Electrician** **Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Electrician to join our team in Alliance, OH. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems ranging from 12v to 480v, including 3-phase systems. The position requires flexibility to work on both 2nd and 3rd shifts, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

+ Perform industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting for systems ranging from 12v to 480v and 3-phase.

+ Troubleshoot electrical circuits, motors, lighting, control boxes/panels, and machine controls within the plant.

+ Conduct minor mechanical repairs on conveyors, gears, and bearings.

+ Assist in the repair of facility equipment such as conveyors, robotic arms, rollers, furnaces, and mobile equipment.

+ Participate in special installations and projects as required.

+ Interpret and work from drawings and schematics.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 4 years of industrial electrician/maintenance experience.

+ Experience with 480v and 3-phase systems.

+ Proficiency in machine repair and troubleshooting.

+ Knowledge of circuits, OHMs, motors, panels, sensors, switches, and photo eyes.

+ Ability to read and interpret schematics.

+ High School diploma or GED required.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Journeyman Card holders will be offered the top rate without needing to take the Ramsey test.

+ Trade School Certificate for Journeyman Course, Associate's Degree, or equivalent experience preferred.

+ 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.

+ Willingness to undergo minimal training for those working towards obtaining their Journeyman's card.

Work Environment

The position operates in a union environment characterized by heavy industrial and sometimes dirty conditions. The workplace can be hot near furnaces and loud near tube drop-off areas. Employees are frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, and occasionally to wet or humid conditions, fumes, airborne particles, and extreme heat. The physical demands include standing, walking, and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds. The job requires flexibility to work all shifts, with regular 50-60 hour workweeks and specific shift differentials for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $56000.00 - $73000.00/yr.
