Job Title: Electrical Assembler** **Job Description

As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for performing electrical assembly of refrigeration houses, similar to those seen outside grocery stores. Your primary task will include running wires to complete the assembly of refrigeration units, and wiring up components such as lights or ceiling fans based on custom specifications. In addition to electrical tasks, a mechanical assembly aspect is also involved. You will be working with both prints and schematics, and at times, collaborating with team members to develop processes. This role requires the use of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

+ Perform electrical assembly of refrigeration units.

+ Run wiring for various components including lights and ceiling fans.

+ Collaborate with team members to develop assembly processes.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for assembly tasks.

+ Utilize hand and power tools for assembly work.

+ Participate in mechanical assembly tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in electrical wiring from a manufacturing or construction background.

+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

+ Proficiency in using hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Open to candidates with mechanical inclination willing to learn electrical wiring.

+ Students with relevant background will be considered.

+ Capability to stand for 8+ hours a day.

+ Ability to lift 20+ lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Work Environment

Work in a large manufacturing building where units are built in teams of 3 to 4 people. The environment is fast-paced and well-lit, maintaining cleanliness despite the nature of the work. While the facility does not have air conditioning, fans are used to ensure air flow. Employees are required to wear steel-toed shoes and long pants daily.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ramsey, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
