Job Title: Maintenance Manager** **Job Description

As a Maintenance Manager, you will direct the design, development, and continuous execution of maintenance systems, including preventive and predictive maintenance, emergency maintenance, and reliability-centered maintenance. You will also initiate and develop partnerships with key suppliers, measure key process metrics, and supervise the maintenance team to ensure timely completion of tasks. Collaborating with production supervisors, you will improve manufacturing methods and equipment utilization. You will also play a crucial role in maintaining the facility’s EHS program and ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations.

Responsibilities

+ Direct the design, development, and execution of maintenance systems.

+ Initiate and develop partnerships with suppliers, vendors, and contractors.

+ Measure and track key process metrics to direct resources effectively.

+ Supervise, schedule, and assign work to maintenance personnel.

+ Collaborate with Production Supervisors to enhance manufacturing methods.

+ Train, develop, and motivate maintenance team members.

+ Maintain facility’s EHS program and ensure compliance with regulations.

+ Support the Food Safety Quality System and Safety Management System.

+ Create and manage maintenance budgets.

+ Contribute to new business initiatives and capital projects.

+ Manage the introduction and disposal of machinery and equipment.

+ Implement critical spare parts inventory and preventive maintenance programs.

+ Develop maintenance performance KPIs.

+ Implement lean manufacturing standards and programs.

Essential Skills

+ Management and leadership experience.

+ Experience in operating and troubleshooting boiler systems.

+ Minimum 5 years of hands-on manufacturing and maintenance experience.

+ Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

+ Experience with eMaint preferred.

+ Proven success in fast-paced environments.

+ Ability to make decisions with limited information.

+ Strong troubleshooting capabilities in mechanical and electrical equipment.

+ Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ H.S Diploma or equivalent required; Associates or bachelor’s degree strongly desired.

+ Prior experience with continuous improvement initiatives.

+ Experience working on high-pressure boilers, steam systems, wastewater treatment systems, and related equipment.
