Job Description
As a Production Associate, you will operate and monitor production equipment to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards. You will assist in the mixing, packaging, and labeling of food products while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Adherence to safety and quality guidelines, including HACCP and GMP standards, is essential. Routine checks will be conducted to ensure that product specifications are met, and any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns must be promptly reported to supervisors.
Responsibilities
+ Operate and monitor production equipment according to company standards.
+ Assist with mixing, packaging, and labeling food products.
+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
+ Follow all safety and quality guidelines, including HACCP and GMP standards.
+ Perform routine checks to ensure product specifications are met.
+ Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
Essential Skills
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
+ Willingness to work in a temperature-controlled environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Previous experience in food manufacturing or production preferred.
+ Any previous GMP experience.

Work Environment
The work environment is a clean, new facility dedicated to food production. The role requires working in a temperature-controlled environment with shifts available on a rotating schedule: 1st shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM) and 3rd shift (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), with a 3 days on/4 off one week and 4 days on/3 off the next schedule.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.85 - $19.00/hr.
