    Inventory Clerk

    Job Description

    The position is responsible for the accurate accounting of inventory including receiving, processing, recording, and distributing supplies and materials. It involves performing a variety of clerical duties including data entry and maintenance of files and records.

    Responsibilities

    + Receive and release containers, processing all associated documentation.

    + Clean inside and outside of containers under supervision, following CSafe documentation.

    + Interact with transport company drivers during deliveries and container releases.

    + Prepare outgoing containers for shipment, including cleaning and testing per CSafe approved documentation.

    + Coordinate with Logistics and Customer Service to ensure proper documentation and special instructions for loads.

    + Enter information in inventory systems as required.

    + Operate simple warehouse equipment as necessary.

    + Perform other related manual tasks as assigned.

    + Mechanical aptitude

    + Forklift operation experience

    + Inventory management

    + Data entry proficiency

    + Computer skills

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must have inventory experience

    + Experience in a warehouse environment

    Work Environment

     

    The role is based in a clean repair facility at ORD, operating under a provider of cold chain shipping solutions. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, offering a structured and organized work environment.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Plaines, IL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
