Job Title: General Utility Worker** **Job Description

This role is located at the West Facility in Pleasant Prairie, WI. Candidates will rotate through four key areas: sanitation/pack-off, packing, palletizing, and box making.

Responsibilities

+ Sanitation/Pack-Off: Dispose of extra materials that will not be used. Break down and dispose of incoming packages and labels. Separate trash into categories: trash, cardboard, and plastic. Spray machines and containers with disinfectant.

+ Packer: Assist with preparing machine start-ups and disassembly of machines for sanitation. Place bags of finished goods into boxes. Visually inspect finished goods for defects. Complete necessary paperwork.

+ Palletizer: Visually inspect cases to ensure proper sealing and labeling. Operate pallet jack to move finished pallets. Assemble and disassemble machinery for sanitation. Document all findings. Palletize finished boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.

+ Box Maker: Maintain boxes and labels for the production lines. Ensure labeling matches spec sheet and boxes are free of damage. Document movement of finished and raw materials. Palletize finished boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment

This position is for the 2nd shift, running from 3:45 pm to 1 am, Monday through Friday, with most Saturdays included. Expect to work 50+ hours a week, limited to 60 hours. The work environment is a GMP food production setting, requiring attire such as an overcoat, gloves, hardhat, ear plugs, safety glasses, and knee-high non-slip rubber boots. The production floor is refrigerated, maintaining temperatures between 30-40 degrees.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
