Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will engage in the mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies for printers on a production line. This role involves packaging printers, utilizing various hand, power, and pneumatic tools, and working at multiple stations throughout the day.

Responsibilities

+ Package printers while handling up to 40 lbs to understand printer details.

+ Perform mechanical assembly of sub-assemblies for printers by hand.

+ Operate at various stations during the workday.

+ Utilize hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic tools for product production.

+ Read and interpret blueprints and schematics for part assembly.

+ Inspect parts before and after assembly to ensure correct assembly.

+ Enter data of rejected or flawed parts into the company database.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in electro-mechanical assembly.

+ Proficiency in using hand and pneumatic tools.

+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics.

+ High School Diploma or GED.

+ At least 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with packaging and quality inspection.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.54 - $23.54/hr.
