    About the Role

     

    Are you the go-to person for keeping systems running smoothly? As a **Building Engineer** , you’ll ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of building systems—from HVAC adjustments to electrical maintenance and everything in between.

     

    • What You’ll Do

    • Order, stock, and inventory parts and supplies.

    • Manage water treatment chemicals for heating and cooling systems.

    • Complete daily equipment logs and inspect mechanical and life safety equipment.

    • Perform electrical maintenance (motors, drives, lighting systems, wiring, transformers, breakers).

    • Change air filters, adjust belts, lubricate bearings, and maintain HVAC comfort zones.

    • Conduct weekly fire pump and generator tests.

    • Maintain locks, door hardware, and perform minor repairs.

    • What We’re Looking For

    • **3+ years** of building maintenance experience.

    • Proficiency in **electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and facility maintenance** .

    • Knowledge of **control devices, BAS systems, and CMMS software** .

    • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to use measuring equipment.

    • Preferred Certifications

    + High Pressure Boiler Operator’s License

    + Refrigeration Operator License

    + EPA 608 Universal Certification

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Louis, MO.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $36.00/hr.

    Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job

    classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be
