    FlexStaff is hiring a Contract Recruiter for our Long Island client, in higher education. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle recruitment process to attract, engage, and hire top talent. This role partners closely with hiring managers and HR to ensure a positive candidate experience.

    Key Responsibilities

    * Partner with hiring managers to complete intake meetings, complete job postings.

    * Actively source candidates through various channels (job boards, social media, networking, referrals) with a strong focus on LinkedIn Recruit.

    * Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and manage candidate pipelines.

    * Coordinate interview schedules promptly and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams.

    * Ensure timely communication with candidates and hiring managers to avoid delays.

    * Follow up on feedback within agreed timelines amongst both candidates and hiring teams.

    * Identify and remove bottlenecks in the interview process to maintain momentum.

    * Partner with stakeholders to prioritize critical roles and expedite decision-making.

    * Maintain accurate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

    * Ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.

    * Provide regular updates and metrics to stakeholders on recruitment progress.

    Qualifications

    * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).

    * 2+ years of high volume recruiting experience (corporate or agency).

    * Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and recruitment best practices.

    * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    * Proficiency with ATS and HRIS systems.

    * Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

     

    The salary range for this position is $72800-$75504/year
