Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a **PRN Multimodality Technologist** to join the Imaging team at **Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Cedar Park** . This role is ideal for a technologist looking for **consistent PRN coverage every Wednesday night** , with the opportunity to work in a highly respected healthcare system known for innovation, teamwork, and patient-centered care.

As a **Multimodality Technologist** , you will perform imaging procedures across **two or more modalities** , with at least **50% focus in an advanced modality** such as **CT, MR, Nuclear Medicine, or Interventional Radiology** , supporting both ambulatory and hospital patients.

What You’ll Do

+ Perform **high-quality multimodality imaging procedures** according to established protocols.

+ Maintain image quality, productivity, and workflow efficiency.

+ Communicate effectively using **AIDET principles** to ensure a positive patient experience.

+ Prepare and position patients appropriately; adjust equipment settings and exposure factors.

+ Adhere to all **radiation safety, infection control, and sterile technique** standards.

+ Maintain imaging equipment and work areas to meet quality and cleanliness requirements.

+ Collaborate with engineers and physicists to ensure optimal equipment performance.

+ Verify requisitions, patient history, pregnancy status, shielding, and consent documentation.

+ Accurately document and maintain imaging records in **PACS and EMR systems** .

+ Support department operations by assisting with supply management and reporting issues.

+ Participate in **call coverage** , if required.

+ Knowledge of imaging workflows, regulatory standards, and quality assurance.

+ Willingness to serve as a **preceptor or trainer** for new team members when needed.

Qualifications

Education

+ Graduate of an **Accredited Radiologic Technology Program**

Experience

+ Less than **1 year of experience** required

Certification / Licensure

+ **ARRT (R) – Radiography**

+ **ARRT (CT) – Computed Tomography**

+ **Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)** license issued by the **Texas Medical Board**

+ **Basic Life Support (BLS)** within 30 days of hire or transfer

This position requires certification in **CT and X-Ray** . Other imaging modality certifications are not applicable to this role.
