    Description

    Refrigeration Supervisor

    Responsibilities:

    + Prioritize work orders and schedule refrigeration technicians according to urgency and necessity of orders.

    + Monitor all refrigeration and steam/boiler areas to ensure proper functioning of equipment and machinery.

    + Promote and encourage safety in all aspects of maintenance.

    + Perform skilled maintenance activities including construction, welding, brazing, soldering, and plumbing.

    + Adjust, repair, and replace electrical and electronic equipment.

    + Complete required paperwork, such as payroll.

    + Attend meetings as scheduled or called.

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

    + Mechanical or related training preferred

    + Considerable knowledge of methods, materials, tools, and practices used in the building, electrical, or mechanical trades

    + Considerable knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions

    + Strong communication skills

    + Computer skills

    + Experience and knowledge in APSM

    + Can perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation

    + As a salaried position with the company, you may be required to travel at some point to other facilities, to attend Company events, or as a representative of the Company in other situations. Unless otherwise specified in this posting, the amount of travel may vary and the most qualified candidate must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate.
