Physician Assistant (PA-C) – Internal Medicine

Full-Time | Outpatient | No Call | No Weekends

Key Responsibilities

+ Perform histories, physicals, and comprehensive clinical assessments

+ Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions

+ Conduct preventive care and sick visits

+ Order and interpret labs, imaging, and EKGs

+ Develop and manage treatment plans

+ Prescribe medications and provide medication counseling

+ Educate patients and coordinate specialty referrals

+ Document care accurately in the EMR

+ Collaborate closely with the supervising physician and clinical staff

Required Qualifications

+ Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

+ Current NCCPA certification (PA-C)

+ Active or eligible state PA license

+ DEA license (or ability to obtain)

+ 2+ years of clinical experience preferred (internal medicine or primary care strongly preferred)

+ Strong diagnostic, communication, and patient-care skills

Schedule

+ Outpatient only

+ No call responsibilities

+ No routine weekends

+ Occasional compensated time for labs/messages
