The Repair Engineer is a
thorough, dedicated and technical customer facing individual, who is focused on
developing unique repair solutions of engineered-to-order turbomachinery using
industry standards and Siemens Energy developed repair standards. The objective
is to ensure reliability, availability and efficiency of the equipment while
prioritizing safety and quality to return the unit back to operating condition.
How You’ll Make an Impact
+ Develop workinstructions, repair shop routers, inspection packages and quality plans.
+ Establishguidelines to provide engineering assessment and disposition forcompromised equipment whist coordinating with experts to develop accuraterepair dispositions.
+ Collaboratewith production supervisors and leadsman to ensure specifications andprocedures are adhered to during each project phase.
+ Support theresolution of customer technical issues to provide effective solutionswithin acceptable schedule requirements.
+ Contribute todigitalization efforts to enhance shop operations (digital inspectionprograms i.e. 3-D scanning).
+ Develop accurate reports andorganizing engineering records to update fleet data.
What You Bring
+ Bachelor'sdegree in mechanical engineering (or equivalent field) with a minimum of 3years of working experience in the oil & gas or power generationservice industry is preferred.
+ Possessfundamental knowledge of turbomachinery theory and thorough understandingof standard repair principles.
+ Familiar withmachining and mechanic operations including industry standards (ASME &API).
+ Stronganalytical skills and ability to be agile/resourceful with a keenattention to detail.
+ Excellentcommunication, interpersonal ability and technical writing skills.
+ Flexibility toadapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic environment.

Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector. Increasing
electrification and efficiency are key and demand for green H2 and derivative
fuels will rise. We enable decarbonization of the industrial sector and the
transition to sustainable processes, building on a strong industrial customer

capabilities.
There are regional repair
engineers at our major service centers around North America. The group has a
range of repair expertise within the oil and gas industry, specific
turbomachinery. The network and collaboration will provide the adequate
framework to ensure successful technical support at each of these locations.
In our Industrial
Applications division, we offer comprehensive digital portfolio solutions
in the oil and gas sector and other process industries comprising rotating
equipment, electrification, and solutions for the Subsea business. Our
customers are supported with sustainable and mission-critical products,
solutions, and services.
