How you create impact

+ Supervise the Operational Care Center Team whilst ensuring operational excellence through high-quality shipment/process management.

+ Monitor operational performance and increase data and execution quality according to internal requirements.

+ Resolve problems escalated by a team member or any other stakeholder as the first level escalation contact point.

+ Collaborate with all operational/customer care teams, partners/suppliers, gateway, warehouse, customs teams, revenue care, and external parties as needed.

+ Contribute as a process owner to continuous improvements of processes and controls for lean and cost-efficient operation.

+ Optimize operations and all systems utilization, working closely with the Optimization Team, to ensure the highest levels of productivity within the organization.

+ Support airfreight procurement and carrier/partner relationship management.

+ Partner with the Customer Service and Key Account Teams to gain specialized customer specific knowledge and to receive first-hand feedback about the department's operational execution.

+ Support team development through new/existing customers and during account implementation.

What we would like you to bring

+ 2+ years of Freight Forwarding/Logistics operations experience required. Specifically, air logistics with both import/export regulations is highly preferred.

+ Previous leadership experience directly managing a team of operators.

+ Proficient in problem solving, organization, time management, and team building skills in a dynamic environment.

Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and welfare benefits, a 401k retirement savings plan, tuition reimbursement, and incentive compensation for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations. Kuehne+Nagel reviews pay ranges regularly to ensure competitive and fair pay based on industry market data. #LI-AA1
