    Position Title:

    Maintenance Coordinator (Inventory Control Clerk)

    Pay Rate:

    Rate – $30.43/hr.

    Category/Shift:

    Hourly Full-Time

    Physical Location:

    Salem, OR

    Purpose:

    The Maintenance Coordinator (Inventory Control Clerk) is responsible for coordinating the purchasing and receiving of spare parts, creating and maintaining repair and inspection reports, and generating tracking/closing of work orders. Primary responsibility is the procurement of manufacturing parts and supplies and daily storeroom activities.

    JOB DUTIES:

    Primary duties of the Maintenance Coordinator (Inventory Control Clerk) position include, but are not limited to:

    + Perform daily storeroom activities including parts ordering, expediting, receiving, inspecting, cataloging, stocking, issuing, and inventory control.

    + Responsible for computerized storeroom management; compares inventories to record management system or computes figures from records such as purchase invoices to obtain current inventory.

    + Investigate and analyze new sources of supply and comply with environmental regulations such as chemical purchases, while maintaining good vendor relationships.

    + Manage vendor quotes. Also responsible for all vendor follow-up, to include but not limited to: parts delivery and back order; invoice verification; tracking refunds/credits; and, bin stock.

    + Responsible for the location of T-parts that have been sent out for repair.

    + Responsible for kitting and staging.

    + Coordinate equipment rental drop off and pick up.

    + Perform 5S audits of designated work areas, including but not limited to cabinets and boards.

    + Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

    + Meet established budget and inventory levels.

    + Stock and issue materials or merchandise.

    + Plan, implement, and follow-up on best practices in stores and purchasing.

    + Additional duties may be assigned by management.

    + Must be able to fulfill requirements listed in “General Requirements of All Production Employees”. Heavy lifting over 50/lbs. must be done with assistance

    The Skills You Will Bring:

    Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

    + High school degree or GED (or equivalent experience) preferred

    + Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred

    + Prior experience in the corrugated manufacturing industry or food manufacturing industry _highly preferred_

    + Stable work history and good attendance record

    We are looking for the following knowledge, skills, and abilities in a successful candidate:

    + Desire knowledge of food industry standards for production, safety, waste, and AIB/SQF housekeeping.

    + Solid technical aptitude skills.

    + Solid basic math skills.

    + Ability to follow written instructions.

    + Interface with computer and have the ability to enter data into various software platforms.

    + Demonstrated work performance to be self-directed and self-motivated.

    + Proven track record on safety and quality.

    + Professional attitude and good communication skills
