Job Title: Project Coordinator
Pay: up to $24 an hour
Job Description
Take the next step in your professional development with an exciting opportunity as a Project Coordinator. This role involves processing orders for merchandise received via various channels and providing support throughout the project lifecycle. The position reports to the Project Manager and is classified as nonexempt.
Responsibilities
+ Review orders received for accuracy in terms of price and quantity.
+ Communicate effectively with Sales Representatives to understand customer expectations.
+ Enter orders into SAP promptly and maintain all project information and documentation.
+ Compute costs, sales representative's commissions, applicable taxes, and shipping charges.
+ Inform customers of updated unit costs, shipping dates, and any anticipated delays.
+ Ensure all paperwork is accurate and follow up with customers as necessary.
+ Print order documents for review by the customer service manager.
+ Confirm material allocation or ordering and follow-up on material arrival dates.
+ Prepare production documents and coordinate with the Production Coordinator.
+ Follow up on production orders to ensure timely delivery.
+ Check shipping orders for accuracy regarding quantity and freight costs.
+ Specify special labeling or packaging requirements for shipments.
+ Prepare customized reports, KPIs, and correspondence; update databases as required.
+ Record and address customer complaints to improve customer satisfaction.
+ Collaborate with production, shipping, warehouse, or carrier personnel to resolve shipment issues.
+ Learn and support customer processes and requirements.
+ Maintain an updated customer name and address database in SAP.
+ Follow up with customers on project backlogs based on material requirement dates.
+ Create and follow up on Sample Requests to ensure timely shipment.
+ Prepare shipping documents, whether at customer cost or as no-charge replacements.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of admin/coordination experience.
+ Attention to detail and data accuracy in Excel.
+ Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
+ Experience with construction administration, document control, and customer service.
+ Proficiency in project coordination, invoicing, and purchase orders.
+ Knowledge of SAP ERP and Salesforce.com.

+ Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
+ Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and perform physical tasks as necessary.
+ High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Outlook.
+ Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP software is essential.
Work Environment
The workplace has recently been renovated to provide a sleek and contemporary environment. You will work at large L-shaped desks within a team of four, providing a spacious and collaborative area. The manufacturing warehouse is attached, requiring comfort with walking onto the floor with safety glasses for discussions. The environment is drama-free with a strong tenure, and there are locations in Florida and California.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bristol, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
