Supply Chain Project Coordinator
The Supply Chain Project Coordinator will partner with the project manager to drive and support successful project execution. This position will partner collaboratively to help manage project financials, participate in requirements gathering, update project schedules, and prepare project updates supporting communications to leaders with critical information. This may include scheduling meetings, tracking financials, maintaining project plans, preparing reports, documenting meeting minutes, etc.
This person will be responsible for primarily tactical support for Labor Management System deployments (we have a process and a solid specialist on the project, so mostly just project administration), PMO Intake governance, tactical MHE support (supporting fleet moves, decommissions, returns), and other duties as needed in a support role for our more senior PMs.
What you will do
• Support the project manager by overseeing tasks to completion, recording meeting minutes, support management of action items, coordinate/calendar project meetings, update project calendar, and support creation of PowerPoint presentations.
• Assist with the tracking of project financial forecasts and actuals to ensure project spend stays within the approved budget. This includes resource time planning and reporting.
• Identify and support implementation of project management best practices to streamline, automate, or improve existing processes and tools.
• Provide metrics to ensure project updates are updated according to guidelines. Issue reports and data to support project plan and decision making.
• Support management of communications and deliverables from all stakeholders for the project
• Other duties assigned by management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
• 2-4 years (required)
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field (preferred)
• Project management certification is a plus
• Working knowledge of Korber Warehouse Management System is a plus
• Previous experience as an industrial engineer, business analyst, or information architect is a plus
Skills and Abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Understand basic supply chain concepts and terminology, including procurement, production, inventory management, and distribution.
• Understanding of basic project management principles and methodology.
• Attention to detail, planning skills and strong organizational skills.
• Service Oriented with an Operational focus and continuous improvement mindset (High proficiency)
• Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems (Medium proficiency)
• Demonstrated ability to define problems, draw valid conclusions and make decisions requiring the use of judgment; (Medium proficiency)
• Ability to manage time and prioritize overlapping projects. (High proficiency)
• Ability to document solutions in the form of requirements, process flows, etc. (Medium Proficiency)
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Dublin, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
