    Role Overview

     

    We are seeking a SOC Engineer 3 to join a 24x7 global information security operations team. This role involves monitoring, identifying, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, as well as maintaining security sensors and implementing advanced security solutions.

    Top Skills

    + SOC Experience: 3–5 years in information security administration and operations, specifically within a Security Operations Center (SOC). Must have experience monitoring security incidents across wireless, Windows-based systems, laptops, servers, etc.

    + Incident Response & Forensics: Hands-on experience in incident response, vulnerability management, host/network forensics, cyber investigation, penetration testing, business continuity, or cyber threat intelligence.

    + SIEM Tools Expertise: Strong knowledge of SIEM tools, especially Splunk. Familiarity with other tools such as NetWitness, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, and XSOAR for alert triage.

    + Security Standards: Solid understanding of information security practices and policies, particularly NIST standards.

    + Technical Knowledge: Ability to interpret alert structures and perform correlation analysis across multiple data sources.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Rapidly assess and analyze security information.

    + Identify and resolve security sensor and tool issues (e.g., false positives, sensor anomalies).

    + Coordinate resolution of infrastructure issues impacting SOC operations.

    + Conduct correlation analysis across internal and external data sources.

    + Support CSIRT activities and incident response efforts.

    + Participate in vulnerability scans, security audits, and risk assessments to ensure compliance with corporate security policies and industry best practices.

    + Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

    + Excellent customer service and ability to take initiative.

    + Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with frequent changes.

    Work Environment

    + Location: Chandler, AZ (local candidates or those willing to commute).

    + Shift: Weekend schedule (Friday–Monday), 10:30 AM–8:30 PM.

    + Hours: Four 10-hour days; 3 days onsite (5 hours each), 1 day remote.

    + Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $53.60 - $53.60/hr.
