Foreman-Fiber & OSP Projects

Schedule:  Start time 6:30AM (8-10 hour shifts) with overtime opportunities

Employment Type:  Full-Time Permanent

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Foreman to lead a team of 4–5 technicians on high-profile OSP and commercial projects. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on cabling expertise, and a commitment to safety and compliance standards. The Foreman will serve as the primary point of contact on-site, ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Oversee and manage a team of technicians on daily field projects

+ Ensure compliance with fiber installation, trenching, and safety standards

+ Communicate project progress, deadlines, and team performance to leadership

+ Act as the main point of contact on the worksite

+ Assist with hands-on work when necessary

+ Travel with the team (80% travel required)

Required Qualifications

+ 2+ years of cabling experience (MUST HAVE)

+ 5+ years of driving experience (Driver’s License)

+ Willingness to travel extensively (up to 2 weeks at a time between VA, NC, and SC)

+ Strong understanding of fiber procedures and compliance standards

Nice to Have:

+ Fiber optic and fiber splicing experience

+ Outside Plant (OSP) experience

Work Environment & Benefits

+ Day shift with occasional weekends; overtime (10-15 hours some weeks)

+ Daily schedule: Start at 6:30AM, travel to work sites in company vehicle, wrap up around 4:30-5:00PM

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
