The Digital Science and Automation Solutions Division (DSAS) delivers software services that refine processes, collate and deliver information across scientific networks and connect people, systems, processes and data. Our capabilities enable scientists and business leaders to make better-informed decisions, advance research, and deliver high-quality products to market faster. Working with organizations across a wide range of industries at different points on their digital transformation journey – guiding their adoption of digital technologies to implement Industry/Pharma 4.0 strategy and make ground-breaking changes to their business. What you will do:
Digital Science sales professionals drive collaborative solutions for customer challenges, selling projects for end-to-end product, software and service capabilities which span complete scientific workflows. As Account Manager you are charged with enhancing the reach of our commercial organization, driving revenue growth within our Division. You will influence other functions too, including product management, solutions development and services, to ensure we meet our yearly targets.
How you will get here:
Education:
+ Bachelor's degree
+ Preferred Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biology or related scientific field
Experience:
+ 3+ years of sales experience, 5 years ideal, preferably in laboratory, scientific, or healthcare industries
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
+ Technical knowledge and ability to understand customer applications and workflows
+ Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
+ Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships at all levels
+ Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and MS Office suite
+ Analytical and strategic planning capabilities
+ Results-oriented with demonstrated success in achieving sales targets
+ Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
+ Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 50% within assigned territory
+ Fluency in English required; additional languages beneficial

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $70,300.00–$105,400.00.
This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
