    About you and this role

     

    Diamond Infrastructure Solutionshas an exciting opportunity for aSenior Training and ODMS Coordinatorin the Logistics Chemicals organization located inSeadrift, TX.

     

    The ODMS/Training Coordinator is responsible for the development and implementation of the department training program in accordance with company standards and site policies. This role will maintain ownership of the training program and work closely with department leadership to ensure strategic alignment and policy adherence for all department personnel. The ODMS/Training coordinator is knowledgeable of the Operations Document Management System (ODMS) and is required to possess technical knowledge and plant acumen at a level able to provide direction to less experience members in the areas of ODMS. This role acts as an informal resource for the team members and provides guidance to the Document Control specialist to ensure the department meets all applicable retention policies. The ODMS/Training Coordinator role is part of the day technical staff and is expected to participate and take lead role in strategic teams designed to meet the department annual goals and commitments. He/She will drive initiatives to evaluate ODMS/Training compliance and will lead all efforts in closing existing gaps in a timely manner. The successful candidate has a proven track record of managing multiple priorities and meeting compliance deadlines associated with EHS audits and self-assessments.

    Responsibilities:

    + Owner of the department training policy

    + Ensures local, global, and business curriculums are assigned in line with needs and requirements per company guidelines

    + Acts as the subject matter resource for the learning system and provides coaching to employees on how to access and utilize learning resources.

    + Provides feedback on global curriculum and supports local implementation of global Instructor Led courses, as appropriate. Works with Course Owners/SMEs, to coordinate the development of local training, as applicable. Coordinates plant/department resources for delivery of training. Optimizes cost of delivery for local and global training in plant/department.

    + Ensures appropriate local subject matter experts review and approve plant/department specific training and learning resources and that all local learning resources are up-to-date and available.

    + Partners with key stakeholders to develop and maintain employee specific training schedules and plans.

    + Ensures all required employee training records are up-to-date and maintained. Tracks compliance and communicates overdue training to deliver 100% training compliance. Performs other audit related reporting.

    + Works with management of change (MOC) owners to ensure that training related requirements are achieved.

    + Provides on-boarding of new employees and contractors into the plant/department.

    + Leads overall ODMS "maintain" efforts for the department and business when applicable

    + Acts as the organization subject matter expert for the overall management system.

    + Works with Business/Department Leadership to identify organization level opportunities.

    + Coordinates and facilitates the Management System Reviews.

    + Develops and leads the department annual self-assessment plan and ensures all self-assessment findings and non-conformances are properly documented in the EAT system.

    + Participates in the employee certifications and re-certification process. Ensures all employee records are kept up to date and maintained per ODMS requirements.

    Qualifications:

    + A minimum of High School Diploma/GED equivalent

    + A minimum of 2 years of relevant industry experience

    + Must already have or be eligible to apply for a TWIC card.

    + A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process
