    + Conducting health interviews/evaluations with parents for IEPs

    + Program Description:

    + This school is a public day school designed to meet the educational and therapeutic needs of students not experiencing success in their home high schools due primarily to behavioral/emotional problems. Individual student behaviors vary greatly, ranging from aggression to withdrawal. However, one thing remains constant – failure to be successful in the home school environment.

    Worksite Details:

    Ages: 9-12, classes with transitional program (aged 18-22)

     

    Population: est. 60-80 students

     

    Address: Dolton, IL 60419

    Start/End Date:

    Asap - End of School Year ('25-'26 SY)

    Hours:

    + 7:45am – 2:45pm

    + 30 min daily break is mandatory

    + 32.50 hours per week

    Submission Requirements:

    + School Nursing experience is required

    + PEL-CSN preferred, would consider an RN with IEP privileges

    + Skilled in: G-tube, Diabetic, & Seizure Care/Management

    + Someone who is organized, communicative, a team player, adaptable, and enjoys being around children

    + Someone who is comfortable with behavioral & aggressive students

    Interview:

    + Virtual or in-person, will be decided upon resume review

    Special Provisions:

    Allowed/encouraged to work the following/extra hours: On occasion with prior approval

     

    + Parent Teacher Conferences

    + Early Dismissals

    + Staff Institute Days

    + E-learning days

    + Etc..
