    Contract Position | Full-Time Schedule

     

    Amergis Healthcare Staffing is proud to partner with a school in Lenox, MA, currently seeking a 1:1 Paraprofessional to support a student across transportation and the school day. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working closely with a supportive educational team.

    Position Overview

    As a 1:1 Paraprofessional, you will provide individualized support to a blind student during school transportation and throughout the academic day. The student uses a walker and occasionally a wheelchair; support needs are primarily physical, and the student is otherwise fairly typical.

     

    Schedule

     

    Monday – Friday

     

    + AM Transport: 6:00 AM – 7:00/7:20 AM

    + School Day: 7:20 AM – 2:20 PM

    + PM Transport: 2:20 PM – 3:10 PM

     

    Start Date: ASAP

     

    Locations: Lenox, MA to out of district program for visually impaired students

     

    Pay Rate: $24/hr

    Key Responsibilities

    + Provide 1:1 support to a blind student during transport and the school day

    + Assist with mobility, including walker and occasional wheelchair use

    + Ensure student safety during transitions and transportation

    + Support participation in classroom activities

    + Collaborate with school staff and transportation teams

    Qualifications

    + Experience working with students with physical disabilities preferred

    + Ability to assist with mobility and transportation support

    + Dependable, patient, and attentive to student needs

    + School-based experience a plus
