Lead 3DExperience (3DX) Solution Architect
**Role Summary:** The technical authority on the 3DEXPERIENCE data model. This architect defines _how_ engineering data flows through the enterprise. They own the "Unified Product Structure" (UPS) and ensure the platform supports complex engineering behaviors (Variants, Effectivity, Change) without becoming a customized nightmare..
Key Responsibilities:
• **Data Model Architecture** : Design and implement the Unified Product Structure (UPS), ensuring seamless data continuity from Engineering BOM (EBOM) to Manufacturing BOM (MBOM).
• **Configuration Management** : Define strategies for 150% BOM management, Options & Variants, and Unit/Date Effectivity.
• **Change Governance** : Architect complex Engineering Change (ECR/ECO/MCO) workflows that align with CMII/industry standards.
• **Multi-CAD Strategy** : Design "Power’By" and integration strategies for heterogeneous CAD environments (SolidWorks, NX, Creo) within 3DX.
• **C&C Strategy** : Enforce "Out-of-the-Box" (OOTB) first principles, defining when and how to use EKL (Enterprise Knowledge Language) or widgets effectively minimizing customizations.
Must Have Skills:
• **US Citizenship or a US Person is needed.**
• 10+ years of PLM Solution Architecture experience, specifically with 3DEXPERIENCE (2021x or later).
• Deep expertise in ENOVIA Engineering Central and CATIA V6 data structures.
• Strong understanding of Systems Engineering (MBSE) and its connection to the physical product structure.
• Ability to lead workshops and translate complex engineering requirements into technical specifications.
Other Skills:
• Ability to translate "Generic Asset" requirements into specific Data Model attributes and relationships.
• Ability to guide development teams on adopting 3DX best practices collaborating with Software vendor.
• Ability to conduct "Art of the Possible" workshops to demonstrate 3DX capabilities to engineering SMEs.
• Strong documentation skills to create the "Blueprint" for the Digital Thread.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering required.
• Dassault Systemes Certification (Solution Architect) highly preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in PLM Architecture and Implementation.
Location:
• Any major US city. 40% travel requirements.

Salary and Other Compensation:
+ The annual salary for this position is between $133,000 – $156,500 + Bonus depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
