As a Financial Analyst – Level 3 or Level 4 located in Dulles, VA, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work.
Our Financial Analyst will interface with the program managers, cost account managers (CAMs) and business managers to provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements.
This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
Your Role and Impact:
+ Assist in management of program financials, including financial and cost forecasting, funding profiles, reporting and variance analysis
+ Setting up cost control accounts and incorporate changes into the cost management system to maintain cost and schedule baselines
+ Possess the ability to prepare and provide weekly/monthly analytical reports to support cost variance/trend analysis
+ Assist in preparing monthly Earned Value metrics for internal/external meetings
+ Develop and review estimates at Complete (EACs)
+ Assisting in preparing for internal and external audits
+ Develop and maintain program artifacts and documentation
+ Setting up, prepare and follow up with all required financial reports
+ Effectively communicating with leadership regarding financial status, metrics and deliverables.
+ Support the development of presentations for, and occasionally brief to, Business Unit/Division/Sector leadership
+ Participating in knowledge transfer and best practices sharing with peers

Basic Qualifications for** **Level 3:
+ Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 3+ years of professional experience. Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree
+ Financial or accounting experience
+ Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
+ No clearance required to start
Basic Qualifications for Level 4:
+ Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of professional experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experience
+ Financial or accounting experience
+ Earned Value Management (EVM) experience
+ No clearance required to start
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Aerospace or Defense Industry experience
+ Department of Defense (DoD) experience
+ Experience working with SAP, Deltek CostPoint, Deltek Cobra/MPM or Oracle Primavera

Primary Level Salary Range: $94,200.00 - $141,200.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
