    Starting Pay: $22.00 per hour

     

    Shift: 1st *flexibility needed to accommodate variable schedules, including weekends and overtime

This is a full-time position in a food manufacturing environment with opportunities for advancement!

    What You Will Do:

    + Lead EHS contact for on-site contractor management.

    + Lead Fire System inspections

    + Inspect processes and procedures that regards machinery and ensure good health and safety practice

    + Patrol the production line and check if workers follow safety rules

    + Conduct daily safety training for new and current employees

    + Conduct safety training on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly, yearly, etc)

    + Carry out examinations of machinery, working environments and structures, taking measurements of noise, heat, and vibrations, and taking photographs and samples where necessary

    + Ensure workers are provided with suitable protective equipment, such as ear protectors or appropriate types of gloves and clothing

    + Investigate precautions taken to prevent industrial diseases

    + Investigate procedures for working in hazardous environments or with potentially harmful substances

    + Investigate accidents and complaints and determining if there has been a breach of health and safety law

    + Report on results of inspections and investigations

    + Providing safety support to plant employees

    + Other assignments as required

    Qualification:

    + Education: High School Diploma

    + Experience: Production experience preferred

    + Language Skills: Bilingual (English/Spanish) speech and written
