    Job Description Summary

    As the Market Insights & Analytics Senior Manager, you will serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the Patient Care Solutions leadership team, delivering actionable insights that shape business strategy and drive customer-centric innovation. In this role, you will lead the design and execution of both qualitative and quantitative market research, support forecasting efforts, and provide competitive intelligence to ensure a robust, evidence-based understanding of customer needs and market dynamics—including competitive landscape, pricing trends, and technology developments.

     

    You will collaborate closely across the organization, partnering with Product Marketing, Product Management, Content & Engagement Strategy, Finance, and regional teams to ensure insights inform value propositions, pricing strategies, messaging, campaign development, and commercial decision-making. Success in this role requires building strong relationships across a dynamic business environment to support both short-term initiatives and ongoing cyclical activities.

     

    Additionally, you will oversee research budgets and manage key vendor partnerships to optimize the impact, efficiency, and scalability of insights across the business.

    Job Description

    Essential Responsibilities

    + Lead primary and secondary, qualitative and quantitative research to uncover customer needs, behaviors, pricing insights, and value drivers across key segments; translate findings into actionable insights that inform messaging, positioning, and campaign strategies.

    + Partner with Product Marketing and the Content & Engagement Strategy team to ensure insights guide value proposition creation, narrative development, and content strategy for global campaigns and commercial programs.

    + Establish and manage ongoing competitive and market intelligence processes, monitoring competitor earnings announcement, product or portfolio announcements or news, communication strategies, and emerging trends; deliver concise analyses and briefings that highlight market gaps, opportunities, and threats.

    + Provide ongoing intelligence that informs campaign differentiation, thought leadership positioning, and commercial strategy, including regular updates that connect insights to business performance.

    + Contribute to portfolio and commercial decision-making by providing clear, insight-driven perspectives on market attractiveness, customer segments, pricing dynamics, and competitive moves.

    + Manage research budgets and ensure efficient use of spending across global and regional programs, balancing enterprise-level priorities with local needs.

    + Oversee procurement and contracting processes for external research, syndicated data services, and related vendors; build strong partnerships with key vendors to enhance value, quality, and innovation in research delivery.

    + Build scalable processes, tools, and dashboards for research and market intelligence sharing that allow stakeholders to self-serve data and quickly access critical insights.

    + Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, and Innovation teams to identify white space and new business/market opportunities informed by data-driven insights.

    + Contribute to marketing’s transformation by championing best practices in research, measurement, and intelligence, by structuring process documentation and standard work, and by helping build a strong, connected insights and marketing community across all of GE HealthCare.

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, or related fields.

    + Minimum 6 years of experience in market research, customer insights, marketing strategy, or a related field, preferably supporting B2B or healthcare-related products or services.

    + Minimum of 4 years of experience designing, executing, and synthesizing primary and secondary research, including customer needs assessments, segmentation, and market landscape analyses.

    + Minimum of 2 years experience with pricing-related research and insight generation, including demonstrated expertise in methodologies such as willingness-to-pay studies, conjoint analysis, price elasticity modeling, or value-based pricing approaches.

    + Proven ability to translate complex data and insights into clear narratives, recommendations, and presentations that inform strategic and operational decisions.

    + Demonstrated experience managing research and/or intelligence programs, including working with external vendors, managing budgets, and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

    + Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using data and analytics tools (e.g., spreadsheets, BI tools, or research platforms) to interrogate data and generate insights.

    + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across global and regional marketing, commercial, and product teams.

    + Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, where warranted to support customer engagements, tradeshows, and internal workshops

    Desired Characteristics

    + Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.

    + 7+ years of experience in healthcare, MedTech, life sciences, or another highly regulated B2B environment.

    + 7+ years of experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a forward-looking, customer-first mindset.

    + Deep curiosity about customers, markets, and competition, with the ability to connect disparate data points into cohesive, insight-driven strategies and stories.

    + 7+ years of experience with data analysis tools (Excel; SPSS/R/Python) and data visualization (Tableau/Power BI).

    + Proven ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed organization and work with regional teams to adapt and activate global insights locally.

    + Experience contributing to market sizing, forecasting, and business cases, including comfort working with financial and market data to support planning and resource allocation.

    + Experience building or scaling insights capabilities, including implementation of tools, dashboards, or frameworks that improve access to and usage of data across teams.

    + Strong presentation skills and executive communication skills, with the ability to simplify complexity, synthesize insights, and influence senior stakeholders.

    + Knowledge of and ability to apply Lean or continuous improvement principles to research, analytics, and marketing processes

    For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $132,000.00-$198,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). GE HealthCare offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
