Job Description
The OAL Architect, Product Strategy fundamentally involves aligning technology with business objectives and leverages deep technical knowledge of Oracle Software Products (specifically Fusion) along with the latest AI capabilities to design and implement scalable, robust systems on the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) platform. This role is pivotal in enabling business growth by architecting solutions that are both innovative and scalable, ensuring Oracle customers can rapidly expand and adapt in a dynamic marketplace.
This role will partner with the business leaders and technical teams to define product vision, architecture and technical solutions, and roadmaps that align with business and user needs. A key aspect of the role is to proactively identify opportunities to leverage cloud technologies to improve business processes. This role is involved in designing solutions that meet the specific needs of the organization, considering factors such as scalability, reliability, and security. Building trust with internal partners, you will oversee value delivery through agile, iterative development practices.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
+ Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, directly supporting business growth.
+ Engage with internal and external stakeholders to identify requirements and propose solutions that maximize the capabilities of Oracle Software Products (specifically Fusion).
+ Provide architectural guidance and oversight throughout the project lifecycle, helping teams scale solutions efficiently and securely.
+ Collaborate closely with product and technical teams to develop and implement OCI-based solutions tailored to business objectives.
+ Assess existing infrastructure, recommending and implementing modifications to optimize scalability and efficiency.
+ Select, track, and interpret metrics to set goals, monitor product health, validate strategies, and communicate value to stakeholders.
+ Educate customers and team members at all technical levels on architectural principles, best practices, and strategies to help their businesses scale.
+ Ensure all solutions and infrastructures adhere to Oracle's IT security.
+ Rapidly solve problems and apply analytics to scale successful practices across the organization.
+ Identify organization-wide issues and collaborate to drive resolution.
Desired Skills & Experience:
+ 10+ years in Data Center Infrastructure & Capacity Management
+ 10+ years leading technical architecture and engineering programs
+ 10+ years of program/project management and product design experience
+ Extensive experience delivering complex technical projects, ideally within global enterprises
+ Proven success communicating and influencing at the executive/C-level
+ Deep knowledge of Oracle Software Products (specifically Fusion) and OCI
+ Experience with modern architecture paradigms, cloud native designs, and scalable AI solutions
+ Strong analytic, process improvement, and organizational skills; adept at managing multiple high-impact projects under deadline
+ Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional collaboration and issue resolution

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only
US: Hiring Range in USD from: $139,400 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
