    Job Description

    This position will be responsible for managing the Business Operations of the Tiger Institute, including the Tiger Institute Health Alliance HIE. The Tiger Institute HIE is one of founding initiatives of the Tiger Institute, a collaboration between Oracle and University of Missouri. The HIE facilitates the exchange of health information throughout Missouri and beyond. It maintains business relationships with health care providers, other HIE networks, and other healthcare related clients. In addition, it is contracted with the State of Missouri to provide health information services, leveraging Oracle technologies. This position will lead the business operations for the HIE and other Tiger Institute initiatives, as assigned. It will manage people who lead projects/programs which focus on the sales and delivery of products, services, and administrative systems.

     

    Manages employees who perform project/program management duties which involve cross-functional teams focused on the sales and delivery of products, services, and administrative systems. Oversees plans and directs schedules as well as project budgets. Monitors programs/projects from initiation through delivery and interfaces with external and internal customers or department personnel. Organizes programs/project activities and interdepartmental meetings. Ensures communication facilitates completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints.

    Responsibilities

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business or related field; Masters degree preferred.

    + 5+ years of experience in healthcare operations, health information exchange (HIE) or a similar environment

    + Demonstrated experience managing teams responsible for project or program management, ideally within healthcare or health IT.

    + Proven track record of effectively managing operational budgets and project schedules.

    + Familiarity with healthcare privacy laws and standards, including HIPAA and HITECH, as well as practical experience ensuring compliance.

    + Experience collaborating with state agencies, healthcare providers, health IT networks, or similar external partners.

    + Familiarity with Oracle healthcare technologies and EHR systems strongly preferred.

    + Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and initiatives.

    + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to collaborate across interdisciplinary teams and present information to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    + Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    + Ability to travel up to 25% as required for business needs.

    + Experience in supporting or delivering healthcare solutions in a collaborative or academic partnership setting is a plus.

    US: Hiring Range in USD from: $92,500 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

     

    Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle's differing products, industries and lines of business.

     

    Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

    10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
