    The Department of International Health at the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health is seeking a **_Sr. Program Manager._**

     

    The Sr. Program Manager works in collaboration to support and administer programming within the assigned project or portfolio. This position will work closely with project partners towards common project goals and serve as the focal point for consortium partners. They will play a key role in knowledge management, reporting, and work planning for the overall project.

     

    This position is responsible for leading programmatic activities for the Self-Empowerment and Equity for Change (SEE Change) Initiative. SEE Change leads personal agency-based training programs globally in partnership with various organizations to empower entrepreneurs, employees, and other target groups.

    Specific Duties & Responsibilities

    + Serve as program lead and/or writer of sections for very large and complex and/or global proposals.

    + Reviews and provides feedback on country level narrative and budget submissions to donor

    + Ensures a knowledge management system to track all requests and submissions

    + Network and liaise as needed to promote the project.

    + Lead work planning and reporting across all project technical/core areas, as well as troubleshooting as needed.

    + Develop and then track metrics to gauge performance across the global project

    + Acts as Project Director, in the absence of the Project Director.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    _In addition to the duties described above_

    + Lead adaptation of SEE Change curriculum for use with partner organizations in collaboration with local teams to ensure cultural relevance for the endline users.

    + Lead adaptation of monitoring and evaluation tools for use with partner organizations to assure alignment with local team’s desired outcomes and metrics.

    + Lead training-of-trainer programs for projects in partnership with other SEE Change team members.

    + Travel to deliver training-of-trainer programs or for monitoring of ongoing research projects.

    + Maintain online learning management platform for use with training programs.

    Minimum Qualifications

    + Master's Degree in Finance, Business or related field.

    + Five years of related experience, with at least three years managing staff.

    + Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Master’s Degree in related field (e.g. health, psychology, behavioral economics)

    + Experience with international in-person training facilitation.

    + Experience with budgeting, invoicing, and contracting review for US Government and foundation research projects and progress reports.

    + Foundational understanding of positive psychology and neuroscience tools for behavior change

    + Certified SEE Change Trainer

    + 8 years related experience in relevant international program management, strategy, impact evaluation, in a related field of education, psychology, health, or economic development.

    + Language proficiency in Spanish, French, or Portuguese.

    Starting Salary Range: $99,800 - $175,000 Annually (Commensurate w/exp.)

    Schedule: Monday to Friday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
