The SAP Technical Architect is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining SAP solutions that align with business objectives and technical standards. This role ensures the integrity, scalability, and performance of SAP systems across the enterprise landscape, providing technical leadership and guidance throughout project lifecycles.
Your Role:
+ Work closely with partners across the organization to understand business requirements, develop solutions architecture, and supervise the implementation of new systems and technologies. Technical Architects assess a project’s feasibility, as well as implementation risks. They are responsible for designing and implementing a project’s technical architecture. They define the structure of a system, its interfaces, and the principles that guide its organization, software design and implementation.
+ The scope of the Technical Architect’s role is bounded by the business issue at hand. You must have the knowledge of all the different aspects of Technical Delivery as well as robust business knowledge. .
+ Design and implement SAP Technical architecture taking into account the organization's goals and objectives, current technology landscape, and budget constraints.
+ Lead the architecture design and technical implementation of SAP solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, or SAP Cloud).
+ Define best practices for integration, extensibility, and development within the SAP ecosystem.
+ Collaborate with functional teams, developers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-performing and scalable solutions.
+ Design end-to-end architecture for hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud).
+ Develop and document solution designs, including technical specifications, implementation plans, and system configurations.
+ Supervise the implementation of new SAP solutions, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the organization's needs.

Your skills and experience:
+ 15+ years professional experience with additional expert knowledge in SAP modules and deep understanding of integration into SAP S4/Hana.
+ SAP Certifications preferred
+ Able to comprehensively apply that expertise across all applicable industry verticals.
+ Recognized externally as an expert in a specific area of the solution. Consistently updates knowledge of the latest SAP releases, capabilities, and roadmaps.
+ Aptitude and attitude to rapidly pickup new technologies or value propositions relevant across Capgemini lines of business and effectively map them to the requirements of our existing and prospective clients.
+ Expert in multiple core business processes, and associated functions, for one industry sector, or a limited number of micro industry sectors. Capable of facilitating a technology agnostic business capability /process workshop.
+ Invited to publish or speak at industry events (virtual or physical).
+ Recognized by peers as always being current/tip of spear on domain knowledge. Shares that knowledge and encourages peers commitment to continuous learning.
+ Build and maintain commercially productive relationships with multiple complementary third-party organizations at a regional level.
+ Ability to Develop and deliver proposal and presentation content, as well as marketing materials across multiple areas of expertise, within or across industry sectors, that is consistently leveraged across multiple presales opportunities within a region.
+ Contribute learnings and content from delivery programs to enrich our body of knowledge for the domain or industry.
+ Able to own plan and deliver an entire proposal response from specific reference to a clients requirements, and or Industry SME, including the executive summary, for an opportunity in excess of $50 million, TCV. Capable of doing this for proposals that span Capgemini lines of business across the SBU, playing as #OneCapgemini.
+ Able to lead and represent the entire proposal, ensuring the quality of proposal delivery through the mobilization and motivation of appropriate teams (Capabilities on/off, peer solution architects, domain experts across BL's, etc).
+ Demonstrated ability to overcome natural friction and challenges in complex multi-proposals to deliver the right solution for the client and for Capgemini as a whole.
+ Understand clients pain points, opportunities, and business context. Can create and articulate a north star for the engagement, and the business benefits which the proposal will deliver for the client.
The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $149,100- $$299,980 (CA)
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
