Job Description
In this role, you will lead and mentor two mid-level engineers while guiding the development and integration of display systems for automotive applications. You’ll work closely with vendors to implement firmware for new display panels, debug hardware and software issues, and ensure compliance with functional safety standards. Daily tasks include system-level troubleshooting across display, touch, and hypervisor layers using tools like gdb, JTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers. You’ll also implement Linux kernel drivers, support migration between display panel iterations, and perform end-to-end testing to deliver a fully functional display system.

Skills and Requirements
5+ years of experience in display systems development.
Strong proficiency in C programming.
Hands-on experience with:
Linux kernel driver development.
FPD-Link and serializer/deserializer technologies.
I2C drivers for touch panels.
Display diagnostics and functional safety features.
End-to-end understanding of the display pipeline.
Debugging tools: oscilloscope, logic analyzer, gdb, JTAG.
Experience with embedded systems and RTOS.
Ability to work onsite and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Automotive industry experience.
Familiarity with vendor-supplied firmware integration.
Experience migrating across different display panel iterations.
Knowledge of hypervisor layers.
Android experience (not required but nice to have).
