The Mission: Precision, Strategy, and Impact

You will be the core engine behind our bidding process, transforming complex project requirements into winning, high-accuracy proposals.

Key Responsibilities

+ Strategic Cost Analysis: Calculate total project costs (labor, materials, equipment, contingencies) using detailed data analysis to drive profitability.

+ Master of Takeoffs: Perform precise quantity takeoffs by deconstructing architectural, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical drawings.

+ Competitive Bid Preparation: Compile high-stakes proposals and specifications that highlight our unique value and winning strategies.

+ Vendor & Subcontractor Leadership: Negotiate and review quotes to ensure complete project alignment and competitive pricing.

+ Value Engineering & Risk Management: Identify cost-saving alternatives without sacrificing craftsmanship and proactively account for project uncertainties.

+ Cross-Functional Synergy: Partner with Engineering and Operations to ensure a seamless "handoff" from the bid phase to field execution.

+ The "Setpoint 7": Master and execute our proprietary "7 Steps of Estimating" to maintain absolute consistency and excellence.

+ Decisive Communicator: You can explain complex technical concepts confidently and persuasively to stakeholders.

+ Self-Governing Leader: You are a self-starter who takes full ownership of your territory and is motivated by hitting aggressive growth goals.

+ Technically Savvy: You have an "engineer’s mind" and a passion for deep-diving into Building Automation Systems and Open Protocols.

Qualifications & Expertise

+ Deep Industry Roots: At least 10 years of experience in the Building Automation Industry.

+ Technical Mastery: Proven expertise in BAS, IoT, CCTV, Card Access, and Open Protocols (BACnet, LonWorks, etc.).

+ Blueprint Fluency: Expert ability to interpret mechanical, plumbing, and electrical drawings, including ASIs and RFIs.

+ Software Proficiency: High-level skills in Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project.

+ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is preferred (relevant experience is equally valued).

+ Territory Agility: Ability to travel within the designated region to support project site visits and client meetings.
