Responsibilities

+ Assume duties of the classroom teacher in accordance with the school district’s lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies

+ Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs

+ Maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment

+ Follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and school procedures

+ Collaborating with paraprofessionals and school staff

Qualifications

+ Possess, or be willing to obtain, a Missouri Substitute Teaching Certificate

+ Requires 36 college credit hours, _or_ a high school diploma and successful completion of a 20-hour pre-certification course

+ Ability to successfully pass a background check and fingerprinting

+ Prior experience in special education or classroom settings is preferred, but not required **Pay & Perks**
