Job Summary and Qualifications

+ You will report directly to the Cardiovascular Service Line Director and will be responsible for the oversight of day to day operations of the cardiovascular cath labs, echo, vascular, electrocardiography and cardiovascular observation department

+ This includes time keeping, scheduling oversite, staff education/ competency and compliance with quality measures and collaboration with cardiac rehab services

What qualifications you will need:

+ Graduation from an accredited school of nursing required

+ BSN or Masters level of education required

+ Current California RN license required

+ Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR card and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required

+ Minimum of five (5) years CCU, Cath Lab, Open Heart surgery experience required

+ Minimum of five (5) years clinical leadership experience preferred

+ Cardiovascular database management experience required (e.g. Core Measures for AMI/HF, ACC NCDR-PCI, ACC NCDR, STS/CCORP, NCDR-TVT, NCDR-LAAO and AF registries)

+ Strong interpersonal communication skills both verbally and written required
