The Boeing Company is currently seeking a **Senior Occupational Health and Safety Specialist** to join the team in either **North Charleston, SC.**

Join Boeing’s EHS team in beautiful Charleston, SC, supporting the 787 Dreamliner program. This role offers a hands‑on opportunity to protect employee health and safety and drive environmental stewardship initiatives across a rapidly growing campus.

Position Responsibilities:

+ Serve as Team Lead to manage work statements and collaborate with EHS professionals

+ Make timely, well-informed decisions and demonstrate decisiveness

+ Oversee multiple site projects from planning through completion

+ Anticipate critical events, identify required resources, and assign responsibilities with clear deadlines and performance expectations

+ Foster stakeholder engagement, provide support, and drive cross-functional collaboration

+ Resolve safety issues ranging from routine to complex through effective problem-solving

+ Conduct incident investigations and develop corrective actions to prevent recurrence

+ Perform routine workplace observations and audits to verify compliance and identify hazards

+ Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety and operational performance

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

+ Bachelor’s degree or higher

+ 5+ years of experience working in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)

+ 5+ years of experience assessing and evaluating risk

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

+ Bachelor’s degree or higher in relevant field (Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health & Safety, etc.)

+ Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional (CSP) preferred

+ 9+ years of experience working in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS)

+ 3+ years of experience in managing projects

+ Managing construction projects preferred

+ Experience with aircraft systems

+ Experience with fall protection systems

+ Experience developing and implementing process improvements

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations

Summary pay range: $119,000 - $161,000
