As a **Security Officer** in **Dallas, TX** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a leading technology, media, and telecom location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter potential issues.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor the premises for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.

+ Support access control by verifying credentials and managing visitor entry as required by site guidelines.

+ Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal team members.

+ Document incidents and daily activities thoroughly and accurately as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ CPR or first aid certification is preferred.

+ CPR certification is preferred.

+ At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
