As a **Security Officer - Unarmed Mall Driver** in **Grandville, MI** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout retail and mall locations. Your visible presence and strong customer service skills contribute to a welcoming environment for guests and employees. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to observe and report any suspicious behavior or situations.

+ Assist visitors, tenants, and staff with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.

+ Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client protocols.

+ Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency personnel when required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
