Job Title: Service Technician** **Job Description
As a Service Technician, you will perform repairs to mobile office trailers, involving tasks such as framing and finish carpentry, electrical work, flooring, plumbing, painting, and running gear. You will engage in light carpentry, electrical, and HVAC work, although no certifications are required. Your role includes maintaining inventory levels of equipment, tools, and parts, keeping your work area clean and organized, ensuring a safe work environment, and providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs and services.
Responsibilities
+ Perform repairs on mobile office trailers covering various aspects such as framing, carpentry, electrical, flooring, plumbing, and painting.
+ Conduct light carpentry, electrical work, and some HVAC tasks.
+ Maintain proper inventory levels of equipment, tools, and parts necessary for service tasks.
+ Ensure cleanliness and organization of the work area.
+ Promote a safe work environment and adhere to company safety policies.
+ Provide courteous customer service both over the phone and in person, explaining repairs and services to customers.
+ Ensure trailers are ready for scheduled delivery dates.
+ Perform service-related tasks in the yard as requested.
+ Conduct service calls in branch territories as assigned.
+ Attend bi-monthly safety meetings.
+ Close up multi-sectional units and ensure all doors and windows are shut on idle fleet.
+ Assist in ordering materials and unloading deliveries.
+ Operate forklifts as required.
+ Perform office maintenance and repair tasks as assigned.
+ Conduct system checks and maintenance on HVAC systems per company guidelines.
+ Perform routine maintenance according to established schedules and procedures.
Essential Skills
+ Interest in construction and working with hand tools.
+ Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
+ Basic knowledge of computers.
+ Good communication skills for interacting with customers and salespeople.
+ Familiarity with carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, flooring, and maintenance tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent.

Work Environment
The work takes place in a yard environment, which is very clean and organized. The team focuses on one modular at a time, working either on refurbished units or those holding tools. Production of a modular takes about 30 to 35 hours, with a goal of completing one per week based on client needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vacaville, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
