Job Title: Ammonia Assistant Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Ammonia Assistant Manager who can perform hands-on work and effectively lead a team of technicians. This role requires a strong technical understanding of various refrigeration systems and the ability to manage operations efficiently.

Responsibilities

+ Perform hands-on maintenance and repair of refrigeration equipment.

+ Lead and manage a team of technicians, providing guidance and motivation.

+ Utilize hand and shop tools for the maintenance and repair of refrigerated systems.

+ Read and interpret sketches and manufacturer's instructions to ensure proper system functionality.

Essential Skills

+ Proven experience in refrigeration system maintenance and repair.

+ At least 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.

+ Strong technical knowledge of industrial and commercial **ammonia refrigeration** systems.

+ Excellent leadership and communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Trade school diploma or equivalent experience.

+ 3+ years of experience with ammonia management.

+ Ability to be hands-on as well as lead a team.

Work Environment

The position offers two shifts: 1st shift from 5 AM to 3 PM and 2nd shift from 7 PM to 5 AM. Work involves hands-on tasks in a facility equipped with advanced refrigeration systems, ensuring a challenging and rewarding work environment.

This is a Permanent position based out of San Marcos, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
