    Job Title: Warehouse Clerk** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk who will be responsible for performing clerical duties, including communication with customers and drivers, as well as handling inventory and shipping tasks.

    Responsibilities

    + Communicate effectively with customers and drivers to ensure smooth operations.

    + Perform picking and packing tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

    + Check bills of lading (BOLs) and driver documents for completeness and correctness.

    + Handle inventory management tasks using Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word.

    + Use RF scanners and FedEx systems for shipping and receiving processes.

    + Lift and move materials weighing up to 30 pounds.

    + Maintain attention to detail while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in clerical duties, including customer and driver communication.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word.

    + Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

    + Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with shipping and receiving tasks.

    + Material handling knowledge.

    + Familiarity with RF scanners and FedEx systems.

    + Ability to walk consistently from the warehouse to the drivers' dock.

    + Computer savvy with effective communication skills.

    Work Environment

    The position is based in a warehouse environment that includes handling chemicals. The role requires adherence to safety protocols and involves walking from the warehouse to the drivers' dock consistently.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Long Beach, CA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
