    Position Overview

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to develop accurate, comprehensive cost estimates for complex construction projects. In this role, you will apply your technical understanding of building systems and industry best practices to produce precise, well-supported estimates that guide critical project decisions.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Prepare detailed estimates, including quantity take-offs, material pricing, labor costs, and equipment expenses.

    + Define and quantify project scope, producing conceptual, budgetary, and construction-level cost estimates.

    + Analyze historical data and create benchmarking reports to ensure consistency and accuracy.

    + Collaborate with project managers, design teams, and stakeholders to align estimates with project objectives.

    Qualifications

    + 4+ years of estimating experience in commercial construction.

    + Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.

    + Proficiency in Bluebeam and Microsoft Office; familiarity with Revit is a plus.

    + Strong understanding of civil, structural, and architectural systems (steel, concrete, foundations, facades, roofing, elevators).

    + Hands-on take-off experience and solid knowledge of NYC construction standards.

    + Prior experience with cost consulting firms is highly desirable.

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New York, NY.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
