Job Overview

Kaiser Permanente is seeking an experienced Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) for a 1‑week high‑pay contract assignment. This is an excellent short-term opportunity for a licensed CLS looking to earn premium hourly rates while supporting a high‑performing, patient‑focused healthcare system.

Responsibilities

+ Perform moderate and high-complexity laboratory testing across multiple departments

+ Analyze, interpret, and accurately report laboratory results

+ Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation

+ Follow Kaiser Permanente policies, procedures, and regulatory standards

+ Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to ensure timely diagnostics

+ Maintain quality control and documentation in compliance with CLIA and CAP standards

Requirements

+ Active California CLS license (required)

+ Minimum 1 year of recent CLS experience in an acute care or hospital setting

+ Strong proficiency in chemistry, hematology, blood bank, and microbiology

+ Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced environment

+ Current BLS (preferred)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140.00 - $150.00/hr.
