Description

We are looking for a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Orange, California. This role requires expertise in managing payroll operations, including union payroll and certified payroll processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll systems and compliance regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Process full-cycle payroll operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Handle certified payroll tasks, adhering to relevant compliance standards and regulations.

• Manage payroll for union employees, including tracking and reporting requirements.

• Utilize payroll systems efficiently.

• Verify payroll data and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate records.

• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure payroll-related issues are resolved promptly.

• Generate payroll reports and provide documentation as needed for audits or compliance reviews.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payroll laws and union agreements.

• Address employee payroll inquiries and provide attentive, detail-oriented support.

• Ensure confidentiality and security of payroll data at all times.

Requirements • Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing.

• Knowledge of certified payroll procedures and compliance requirements.

• Familiarity with union payroll processes, including related regulations.

• Proficiency in payroll systems, with experience using Tracker or similar software.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle payroll discrepancies.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

• Strong communication skills to interact with employees and internal teams.
